Rather than using a uniform printed fabric, Provenance shades are woven from natural materials such as bamboo, reeds, grasses and woods. Subtle variations within these materials are part of their character, giving each finished shade a distinctive appearance.

Provenance Woven Wood Shades are available in several configurations, allowing the same natural materials to take on noticeably different looks.
Roman Shades create clean folds as the shade is raised and provide a classic, tailored appearance.
Waterfall Roman Shades allow the material to cascade naturally over the front of the shade, creating more visible depth and texture.
Recessed Roman Shades provide another streamlined approach to the traditional woven Roman shade.
For larger openings and doors, select Provenance materials are also available in Vertical Drapery configurations, making it possible to coordinate windows and larger expanses of glass within the same room.
Control Natural Light and Privacy
Because woven woods are made from naturally woven materials, the amount of light that passes through the shade varies considerably from one material to another.
Open weaves can softly filter daylight and allow some visibility through the shade, while denser weaves provide greater privacy and light control.
For rooms where additional privacy or darkness is important, Provenance shades can also be paired with optional liners. Light-filtering liners provide additional privacy while maintaining a softer level of natural light, while room-darkening liners reduce incoming light more substantially.
An independently operated liner is also available with select configurations, allowing the woven shade and liner to be adjusted separately for more flexible control throughout the day.
Top-Down/Bottom-Up Flexibility
Select Provenance Woven Wood Shades can be configured with top-down/bottom-up operation.
This allows you to lower the shade from the top while keeping the lower portion of the window covered—an especially useful option when you want daylight from above while maintaining privacy at eye level.
It can be a practical choice for bedrooms, bathrooms, street-facing windows and other spaces where privacy and natural light are equally important.
Motorized Provenance Shades
Provenance Woven Wood Shades are available with Hunter Douglas PowerView® Automation on compatible configurations.
Motorization allows shades to be adjusted using a remote, the PowerView app or compatible smart-home systems. Shades can also be grouped together or scheduled to move automatically at different times of day.
PowerView can be especially useful for larger windows, hard-to-reach shades or rooms with several window treatments that you want to operate together.
